Possibilities of quality assurance in terms of sustainable development related to the different elements of regional development processes (general process, region´s self image, regional network, structure and organisation, evaluation) are described in the report.

Possibilities are for example:
• actor based indicator systems,
• co-operative or project arrangements,
• communication of success,
• better integration of nature protection´s actors and institutions on the decision making level and in the working groups.
