Description of the tool
GIS model superimposes estimated impacts versus vulnerability given by the landscape functions, and leads to a risk map outlining areas. It required available data (geological map, ground water map, land use, land cover) and simple measures (pH values). It assumed pollutants outputs from different activities (roads, agriculture, etc.). It used a simplified models to represent pollutants transport, pollutants retention and pollutants transformation by the soil layers.
