Tool summaryName of the tool DTU Biogas-model Description of the tool The DTU Biogas-model is designed to compare energy consumption and global warming potential for different ways to treat organic household waste. The model calculates net energy production and CO2-emissions for different alternatives on biogas and combustion. These calculations also include energy for transport, for production of fertilisers etc.
Different combinations of the household waste and different methods for treating the waste can be defined in the model.
