The people who were living in the neighbourhood were consultated via their housing association. The consultation of the people in the ongoing restructuring of the whole area of Schalkwijk was discussed in many sessions with a large amount of people. Some people were involved in design of the tool to be used to set the environmental goals / standards for the restructuring. In this scheme 6 themes of were divided in 4 levels of sustainability. D is the normal situation (basid on ´standard´ legislation) and A is the autonom situation, zero energy, zero or 100% compensated influence on the ecology. Decision making process - levels
