Who applied the tool in the case?
The Department of Urbanism was the driving force, however other sectors from municipal units have been involved as well (e.g. environment, transport) as well as the public in general. The involvement of different stakeholders aimed to set up a bundle of measures that should safeguard the existing green structures but also enable to develop “project ideas” that have been stated by the citizens. The scope of such projects is mostly the neighbourhood scale and should be matched with the land use development overall. Active public participation has been sought from the beginning.

Time taken to fully apply the tool
It is difficult to add a time scale for the policy tool’s implementation. However, the policy contains different parts of the city area, based on the city districts. In this respect a partial use of the tool is possible.
