When was the tool produced
The CARE-W project started in 2001 and finished in February 2004. The CARE-W system prototype is from now on available, further developments are planned, depending on commercialisation process.

The idea of a comprehensive European planning system for water network rehabilitation was first presented in 1999 within the COST C3 Action On Urban Water Infrastructure.
