Hochtief Griffiths QUENSH

Description of the tool
A process tool, the Hochtief Griffiths QUENSH (QUality, ENvironment, Safety and Health) Plan was created to ensure that all the Quality, Environment, Safety and Health regulations were adhered to and considered for in each project.

This is a new tool, developed from separate reports on safety, the environment and quality, but made up of all the existing legislation. The tool is constantly being updated and reviewed as it is used on new projects. The tool is designed to be flexible allowing adaption to the local context. The tool, a live document once the project starts, consists of approximately 30 procedures that can be used for a project, but those not relevant are rejected for an individual project, for example if a project concerns road development, the parts of the tool covering issues such as regulations and legislation related to water developments would be removed. For each site, the tool will also include new requirements as specified by the client.
