The publication proposes a general assessment methodology that builds on multi-objective optimisation and a complete set of sustainability indicators, yielding insight into the trade-offs made when selecting sustainable wastewater treatment system. There is no operational tool yet, this is just a description of the approach's content: 3 parts with 1/ Goal and scope definition, 2/ Inventory analysis and 3/ Optimisation.
