Integrated Water Management Co-ordination Tool

Description of the tool
The tool is to provide for the higher efficiency of presentation, co-ordination and public participation in the local planning process. A GIS-based map of inventories, natural properties or human activities is developed and used as a presentation tool. The co-ordination tool contains a generated map of inventories to be combined in a co-ordinated manner. The public participation tool aims to integrate and simplify the main planning information. Four different GIS-based projects for water system management have been elaborated in the Municipality of Lomma (Sweden).
